Cameraman, teacher
Jiří Myslík teaches essential cinematographic practices, imaging techniques and technology. He supervises interdepartmental exercises (Music and Drama), practical exercises as well as lectures and seminars for other study programs at FAMU.
Jiří Myslík graduated from FAMU Department of Cinematography and has taught there since 1981. In 1988, he completed a teacher’s course at the University of Arts in Helsinki. In 1995 he habilitated in the field of Cinematography; he was appointed a Professor in 2012. At present he is the Head of the Image Technique Office and Deputy Head of the Cinematography Department; he is involved in external collaboration with the Czech Technial University and in several research projects.
